the below is a 2-piece work that is rooted in japanese bathing culture, where one goes to cleanse their soul from unwanted energies.
(1) apparel - cyanotype shibori cut and sew sportswear. each shibori panel, dyed with photographic cyanotype, has been exposed within the mirror bath (see (2))
(2) mirror installation - 8x8' room representative of a bathhouse. inside is a room full of mirrors where one "reflects" with themselves
